Firefighter Superhero Poster
This is a mixed media (Prismacolor colored pencils and black India Ink) piece I did a few years ago for my brother who is a firefighter. The fire fighter is depicted in a 'superhero comic' style, and his face remains as a mask, so that he can represent any and all fire fighter(s). He jumps through the backdraft holding firmly a little girl under his arm, while she in turn clutches her teddy bear. This poster/print looks great with a grey mat and black frame.

EMT - Star of Life Symbol
The Star of Life is a blue, six-pointed star, outlined with a white border which features the Rod of Asclepius in the center, originally designed and governed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) (under the United States Department of Transportation, DOT). Traditionally in the United States the logo was used as a stamp of authentication or certification for ambulances, paramedics or other EMS personnel. Internationally, it represents emergency medical services (EMS) units and personnel.
